Our sun protective clothing is clothing specifically designed for sun protection and is produced from a fabric rated for its level of ultraviolet (UV) protection.The Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) shows how well a fabric protects your skin from UV sun exposure. BloqUV garments provide a protection of UPF 50.*
All BloqUV fabrics are tested in accordance to the American Association of Textile Chemist and Colorist (AATCC). They are tested in accordance with AATCC TM 183, ASTM D6544 following 40 home launderings and 100 hours of simulated light for their UPF values to ensure durable UV protection. Product is labeled in accordance to ASTM D6603.
